Miso Crunchy Cabbage Salad
This is a great nutritious and crunchy salad to serve with our gourmet dumplings.
1/4 Green Cabbage or Savoy Cabbage, shredded
1 Carrot - shredded
150g Snow Peas, sliced
3 Tbsp roughly chopped fresh Mint or Coriander
2 Tbsp Miso Paste (either white or red miso), diluted in a 4 Tbsp lukewarm water
2 Tbsp Tamari or Gluten Free Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Raw Honey or Maple Syrup
3 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 tsp Sesame Oil
Pinch of White Pepper
1 tsp toasted Sesame Seeds to sprinkle over salad (optional)
Toss the prepared vegetables to mix together.
Place dressing ingredients in a glass jar. Close the lid and shake the jar a few times so that dressing ingredients are evenly mixed.
Drizzle a small amount of dressing to coat the salad mix, let it stand and marinate for 5-10mins.
Pour the desired amount of the dressing over salad when ready to serve. Serve with Golden Pig & Co dumplings.
